Job Title: QA Engineer

The QA Engineer will be responsible for identifying and analyzing any bugs and errors found during the testing phase and documenting them for review after. Other tasks include developing and running new tests, reporting on the results, and collaborating with Product and Development teams to fix program issues. The QA Engineer will create and implement a strategy for quality coordination and testing, as well as suggesting solutions to identify quality problems. This role will be involved in developing tests and testing CoinFlip services and applications.

Responsibilities

  • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
  • Perform software releases, monitor builds, regression and unit test status
  • Collaborate with product and development team to develop comprehensive testing strategy
  • Create test automation for both UI and API testing
  • Enhance and maintain test automation libraries and frameworks
  • Mobile app testing
  • Document, communicate and facilitate correction of defects discovered during the product life-cycle
  • During project planning help identify project risks
  • Contribute, provide input, and continuously strive to improve all aspects of the product development life cycle
  • Review functional requirements with product managers to ensure completeness and to remove ambiguity
  • Gather, triage, and prioritize bug reports from testers and users
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Computer Science or a related field
  • 3+ years of industry software QA experience in a modern technology application environment
  • Understanding of the latest web technologies, testing processes, tools, cloud deployments, protocols
  • Experience in Full Stack QA testing
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with hardware based solutions is a plus
  • Demonstrated expertise with test frameworks and test automation tools
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Exceptional communicator with strong written, oral and presentation skills
  • A passion for Crypto and Blockchain technologies and the possibilities that they offer to achieve economic inclusion for all
  • Cryptocurrency/digital assets related working experience is a big plus
