Job Title: Senior Process/Mechanical Engineer

Location: SC

Duration: 12+ months

Pay Range: DOE – 8-13 years of combined experience $70/hr, all hours worked, 2 weeks PTO, 10 paid holidays,

Per Diem: GSA Rates

Target start date / availability: ASAP to interview and start



  • RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct construction document reviews as required
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate process/mechanical engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects while engaged in the planning, design and construction phases of engineering projects including project startup
  • Prepare and review calculations and specifications relating to P&ID development
  • Demonstrate design experience in areas such as, but not limited to mechanical systems and equipment design
  • Generate and review the accuracy of design/evaluation calculations, and specifications.
  • Familiarity with computer aided drafting applications is required
  • BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years’ experience (nuclear preferred) in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering.
  • Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to mechanical engineering design.
  • Professional Engineer License preferred but not required.
