Responsibilities:
- Implement the firmware for the latest Solid State Drive (SSD) controllers to deliver high quality, high performance designs.
- Define overall solution and work to design, implement, and test components.
- Ensure the delivered firmware is of high quality.
- Utilize an Agile-like approach of iterative development.
- Perform test-driven development and continuous integration.
- Ensure the highest programming standards are used to produce highly readable and maintainable code, meeting performance and reliability objectives.
- Support projects from their earliest inception through simulation and pre SoC tape out on FPGA.
- Co-design environments and SoC bring-up.
- Support design through customer qualification and ramp into production.
Qualifications:
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field and five years of experience in the job offered or in a Principal Firmware Engineer-related occupation.
The US base salary range that Micron Technology, Inc. estimates it could pay for this full-time position is $239,192 - $282,000 per Year. For additional pay & benefits information, please refer to the requisition at Micron.com/careers.
