Job Description
- Design, code, test, and debug software that solves customer needs
- Debug issues individually or with team members and propose and implement code or scripting updates
- Work with a wide range of systems, processes and technologies to own and solve problems from end to end
- Improve engineering standards, tooling and processes
- Support, maintain, and document software functionality. Make recommendations towards processes and methods
Requirements
Job Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience developing software applications with Java, Javascript, PostGres (or equivalent), HTML/CSS
- 3+ years of experience with an agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.)
- Experience developing microservices
- Experience with Docker containerization
- Skills for upholding best practices in engineering, security, and design
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with AWS
- Works and communicates well with others
- Has empathy for colleagues and customers
- Able to receive and respond positively to feedback
- Able to work independently
- Able to effectively communicate across multiple levels in a fast-paced environment
- Passionate about continuous improvements
Preferred Qualifications
- PostGres SQL (or similar SQL experience)
- Java
- Javascript
- Experience developing APIs
