Position: Junior Digital Designer (Contractor)
As a Junior Digital Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping our brand's visual identity across various digital platforms. This entry-level position is ideal for a creative individual with 0-1 years of experience, possessing a blend of static and video design skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop eye-catching thumbnails of Viki’s video content for the platform and marketing channels.
- Implement engaging social video edits to enhance user engagement, aligning with the brand identity.
- Create captivating title treatments for new shows, ensuring visually appealing brand representation.
- Design key art banners and screenshots for partner platforms.
- Contribute to monthly Soompi banners with innovative designs reflecting the latest trends.
- Adapt designs based on provided key designs for static ads and social media posts.
- Utilize the content management system (CMS) tool to clip and edit videos.
- Collaborate with the Content Ops team to extract impactful snippets while maintaining video quality.
- Adhere to brand guidelines for a cohesive visual identity across all materials.
- Regularly report progress and contribute to team discussions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Digital Design, or related field.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator; basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Basic understanding of video editing and animation.
- Strong creative and conceptual thinking with attention to detail.
- Self-starter with excellent time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Requirements:
- A strong portfolio showcasing both static and video design projects.
- Ability to adapt to various design styles and preferences.
- Knowledge of current design trends and eagerness to stay updated.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects.
- Passion for the Asian entertainment industry and awareness of cultural sensitivities.
- Demonstrated excellence in receiving and giving feedback.
- Willingness to work flexible hours for meetings with international teams.
- Knowledge of Asana, Miro, and CMS tools is a plus.
- Proficiency in Portuguese, Korean, or Spanish is a plus.
