Excelity is seeking a SharePoint Developer for a project responsible for building the next generation Collection Management System for an exciting Government customer with a very critical mission. The candidate will work with the engineering team and customer to ensure successful development of high profile, complex, technical deliverables that are core to the continued success of our award-winning projects.

Required Clearance: TS/SCI with CI Poly

Responsibilities:

  • Update metadata terms systematically, as required.
  • Perform systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts.
  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems. Provision/harden Linux operating systems.
  • Create forms to capture and store information in an effective, efficient, and economical manner in accordance with published regulations and guidance.
  • Ensure software standards are met. Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
  • Perform SharePoint customization, integration, and upgrades into the engineering, test, and production environments in accordance with Configuration Management, Change Management and Security policies and processes.
  • Make recommendations and perform installations of new major releases, product updates, hot fixes and service packs. Install and test recommendations as required.
  • Customize and implement tools and capabilities to include Dashboards, Web sites, Employee Library, and Reports for SharePoint.
  • Maintain Managed File Shares (MFS) in accordance with approved SOPs.
  • Add users, control access to document libraries, and set permissions.
  • Provide technical support to team and customer SharePoint users.
  • Perform data retrieval and backup procedures to prevent data loss.

Required Skills:

  • Full time work in a SCIF is required, but hours are flexible.
  • Requires Bachelor's degree in related field of study with 8 or more years of experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • 10 or more years of relevant experience required. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • TS/SCI with active (<= 6 years) polygraph. Will consider candidates with poly >6 but must be willing to retake and pass prior to start.
  • Must have a minimum of three (3) years in a SharePoint developer role.
  • Must have a minimum of five (5) years of SharePoint Server engineering experience.
  • Must have a minimum of three (3) years of client interaction and working independently as a thought leader.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

Desired Skills:

  • Security+ or other IAT II/III level certification that is currently active.
  • Team lead experience.
