IT Software Engineering Manager

Schneider is seeking an IT Software Engineering Manager to join our thriving team! You will lead a team of developers, analysts, and testers located globally by providing them technical guidance, leadership, and motivation to help them maximize their productivity.

About The Role

• Manage multiple, medium-to-large projects, coordinate product development activities, and ensure timely delivery of projects within committed budget
• Communicate project status to customers, business sponsors and Tech leadership through status reports, weekly meetings, and any other pre-approved communication tools
• Support Product Stewardship and ensure projects are staffed effectively and follow appropriate product development lifecycles using Agile methodologies

Ideal Candidates Will Have

• Bachelor degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field; Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field (preferred)
• Eight or more years of technical experience with increasing responsibility (ex: software engineer, SME, architect and technical lead for large, multi-technology deployments)
• Prior management or technical lead experience leading a team of software engineers and contract staff both onsite and offshore
• Experience using and managing software assets in modern cloud technologies like Azure, AWS or Google Cloud (Azure preferred)
