Position Summary :
The Process Engineer - Production Support will bridge the gap between production operations and IT Systems to ensure smooth and efficient production processes. They are responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes through technology, troubleshooting issues and supporting both engineering and IT teams to maintain production efficiency. This role combines engineering expertise with a deep understanding of IT systems and software used in the production
environment.
Position Title : Process Engineer - Production Support IT
Location : Uxbridge, MA (hybrid)
Potential Earnings : $90,000 - $100,000 dependent on experience
Key Responsibilities Include :
  • Maintenance of the Production IT system as well as the implementation of changes to this System.
  • Collaboration with Headquarters to coordinate global IT changes and avoid Production downtime.
  • Creation of solution to obsolete outdated and unsupported MES systems that track Product through the Production Process and System.
  • Introduction of innovating solutions to improve Production processes and introduce Process Automation and Digitalization working with c.
  • Maintain Master Data at the local Plant in collaboration with Global IT.
  • Training and support of users of all Production Process software.
  • Troubleshooting of Production IT system failures and correction of such failures.
  • As an SAP ME Key user, creation and maintenance of SAP ERP Workstations, SAP_ME work-centers, resources, Routings, work instructions
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Must be flexible and agile to support Lenze business needs and mission and may be assigned projects and/or other duties outside of normal job functions to meet the needs and demands of the business.
Requirements
Qualifications Include :
  • Bachelor's degree in the field of Engineering and/or Technology with a concentration in Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Programming languages like Java, JavScript, .Net, Phython, HTML and SQL.
  • Good understanding of Test Programs (.net, LabVIEW, etc..) connectivity to SQL Databases.
  • Experienced in working with IT Network Systems (LAN, WAN, Cloud, Servers).
  • Experienced in Electronic Production Assembling Processes and their supporting IT systems.
  • Expertise in SAP ERP (including Master data Management) or similar System.
  • Knowledgeable in SAP ME (Manufacturing Execution) and SAP MII (Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence) or similar MES systems.
  • Proficient in Machine-to-Machine communication within an Automated Process (OPC UA).
  • Skilled with Production equipment like Printers, Screwdrivers, Cameras or PickByLight Systems.
  • Expertise of Production systems and Equipment interface to Production Databases
  • Familiarity with Web services.
