Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement embedded systems solutions, encompassing both software and electronics components
- Write efficient and reliable code for our flight control system
- Participate in the design, testing, and evaluation of new components to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and safety
- Integration of electronics components within the vehicle architecture
- Enhance the precision and reliability of our flight control computer
- Create comprehensive requirement specifications for suppliers, ensuring alignment with project goals and performance expectations
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and electronics issues
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the organization
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in embedded systems development, with a focus on electric vehicles and software programming
- Proficiency in C++ programming for embedded systems, with a keen eye for efficiency and performance
- In-depth understanding of CAN communication and their applications
- Familiarity with electric vehicle technologies, flight controls, and advanced electronics components
- Basic knowledge of PCB design principles and tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to testing, troubleshooting, and evaluation
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams
- High adaptability and comfort in a high-paced startup environment
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required; knowledge of Italian is a plus
