Building Engineer III (3rd Shift)

Korn Ferry Military Division has partnered with our client on their search for a 3rd Shift Building Engineer III for their location in the Central Business District in the heart of Dallas TX.

Compensation: $60,000-66,000 base ($29-32/hr) + OT available

Shift: 3rd Shift: Tuesday-Saturday 11pm-7am (off Sunday and Monday)

What You Will Do :

• Perform general preventative maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, systems, equipment and grounds. Assist in monitoring building system operations and performance. May utilize skills in plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating and cooling.
• Will be responsible for understanding all applicable client goals and objectives as well as management agreement requirements - ensuring the team delivers on those requirements.
• Perform all necessary mechanical maintenance and operational procedures to ensure maximum life and reliability to all mechanical systems.
• Responsible for general maintenance and operational duties which include performance testing, maintenance, adjustment and care of the following:
• HVAC equipment including: Chillers, Boilers, Pumps
• HVAC control systems: Knowledge of DDC (direct digital controls)
• Plumbing systems including Commercial
• Electrical systems: Resetting breakers, testing circuits, troubleshooting issues
• Lighting systems and lighting retrofits
• General building systems
• Knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Software)
• Knowledge of sprinkler systems, fire panels, and fire pumps.
• Enter equipment information in the property's maintenance record system.

Education and Work Experience:

• Must be authorized to work in U.S.
• 5+ years of experience in building maintenance and repair required
• at least 4 years of U.S. Military Experience preferred
• High-rise class-A building experience is a plus with an emphasis on customer service. Must be able to interact and communicate well with tenants, customers, contractors, and the client.
