About the job CNC Lathe Machinist
Position: CNC Lathe Machinist
Shift: 1st | Hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM
Type: Full-Time | Mode: Direct Placement
Pay Scale: $24 - $32/hr | Industry: Manufacturing
Our client is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist with a strong background in full-setup procedures, operations, and performing adjustments. Experience with Doosan, Okuma, and Matsuura machines is preferred but not required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC Lathe/Turning Machines, VTL's, and Mill-Turns (Doosan, Okuma, Matsuura).
- Perform machine adjustments and troubleshoot controllers, machines, and processes.
- Work from blueprint requirements.
- Select tools and set feeds and speeds.
- Inspect machined parts using precision hand tools.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Lift up to 70 lbs.
- Maintain a clean work environment and shop floor (tools, equipment, machines, etc.).
- Reorder tools as needed.
- 2-3 years of CNC Lathe experience (e.g., VTL, 2-Axis, Multi-Axis, Mill/Turns).
- High school diploma, GED, or vocational schooling.
- Experience with Doosan, Okuma, and Matsuura machines.
