DSG is seeking a Master Data Management (MDM) Developer to assist in our multi-year digital transformation as a key and strategic component of our sustained continued growth and operational efficiencies. The MDM Developer will provide experience working with STIBO systems and will assist in maintaining, enhancing, and optimizing our MDM solutions. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the integrity and quality of master data, as well as providing support in the implementation of new features within our MDM platform.

A Typical Day in the Life of an MDM Developer at DSG:

  • Assist in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of Master Data Management (MDM) systems, primarily utilizing STIBO Systems.
  • Collaborate with senior developers and data teams to ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy.
  • Support the integration of MDM systems with other business applications.
  • Assist in the configuration, customization, and troubleshooting of the STIBO platform.
  • Participate in code reviews and follow best practices to ensure scalable and maintainable code.
  • Help identify and resolve data-related issues, ensuring that master data is accurate and up to date.
  • Document technical processes and system configurations for future reference.
  • Stay informed about new features and updates within the STIBO ecosystem and the broader MDM landscape.

A Successful MDM Developer Typically Has:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Basic understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) concepts and principles.
  • Experience or familiarity with STIBO Systems or similar MDM platforms.
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with SQL and database management systems.
  • Understanding of data modeling, data integration, and data quality concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work in a team-oriented environment and collaborate across departments.
  • Experience with STIBO Systems, specifically in data configuration, customization, or integration, preferred.
  • Familiarity with APIs and data integration tools, preferred.
  • Understanding of Agile or Scrum methodologies, preferred.
  • Experience working with enterprise-level databases and business systems, preferred.
  • Internship or prior work experience in data management or software development is a plus, preferred.
