Job Description Essential Functions:
- Under direction, performs internal compliance assurance activities to assess level of compliance with existing and proposed federal, state or industry legislation and regulations.
- Develops and reviews procedures and policies to ensure compliance with company standards and procedures, federal, state and local regulations and codes
- Coordinate the collection of compliance documents to support regulatory filing requirements and information requests
- Assists in the oversite of construction, operation and maintenance activities to ensure specification and code compliance. Ensure compliance with field procedures and the coordination with other Eversource Gas Business Groups
- Reviews purchase requisitions, and invoices related to departmental activity.
- Assists in gas distribution system/Client restoration efforts during emergencies Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications: Technical Knowledge/Skill:
- Thorough knowledge of liquified natural gas operations and maintenance work practices and procedures
- Knowledge of applicable regulatory code and regulations
- Knowledge of natural gas principles
- Working knowledge of environmental requirements affecting related activities
- Familiarity with MS Office
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years of related experience
