Airswift has been tasked by one of our Upstream clients to seek a Facility Technical Lead to join their team in Spring, TX for an initial 12-month contract, with possibility of extension !
Responsibilities:

  • Be able to mechanically design a tank battery and SWD from scratch:
    • Full process design and process modeling
    • Material selection
    • Pipe, valve, fitting selection meeting all relevant codes and standards
    • Size and write bid requests for all rotating equipment
    • Size and write bid requests for all skidded equipment and pressure vessels
    • Understanding of environmental and regulatory requirements
    • Understanding of equipment spacing for operability, safety, and cost
    • Corrosion/erosional design
    • Control system design
  • Review and approve execution plans from project engineers
  • Review and approve MOCs
  • Lead HAZOPs
  • Assist operations with troubleshooting and operability
  • Write all major equipment RFQ's
  • Create and redline P&IDs and Plot Plans
  • Technical interface with vendors/suppliers
  • Teach and train other engineers
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • 10 to 15 years of experience in facilities engineering within the upstream oil and gas industry.
  • Proficient in designing tank batteries.
  • Familiarity with the Permian Basin is preferred.
