We are looking for a dynamic AI/ML Systems Analyst to join our team! We seek an experienced solutions/application developer to build leading-edge AI/ML solutions. This position reports directly to the organization's CTO for guidance and is responsible for building AI/ML solutions that differentiate our solutions in the competitive government contracting marketplace. The ideal person is comfortable leveraging the Azure cloud environment, including BLOB storage, web app deployment, and Azure AI Services (formerly Azure Cognitive Services). Success is measured by delivering functional and usable solutions solving real business problems. The development process will ideally include an agile methodology to deliver value iteratively.
Responsibilities:
- Work with stakeholders to gather solution requirements and capture a definition of what a successful solution looks like.
- Develop code solutions to meet the stakeholder requirements using Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code using the Python language and Python notebooks.
- Design the user interfaces for the AI solutions to pass prompt values to the trained model to include uploading attachments and adding audio/speech capabilities.
- Train Machine Learning custom classification models using Azure Synapse that enables our organization to analyze narrative comments and classify the outcomes according to a custom rubric.
- Publish user-facing web interfaces to the IaaS to facilitate interaction with the trained models.
- Communicate all issues and concerns that arise during course delivery to the CATHEXIS CTO.
- Other duties as required to ensure successful build and deployment of the target models.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science or a related field.
- Five years of experience in software development, specifically developing applications hosted in serverless environments.
- Azure platform expertise.
- Agile software development.
- Software Security to include the ability to integrate Microsoft Entra ID authentication into published web apps.
- Experience creating custom classification machine learning models.
- Experience developing user interfaces and deploying Azure Web Apps.
Skills:
Required (Must Have) Skills:
- One or more years of experience in applying AI to practical and comprehensive technology solutions.
- A solid understanding of the principles and concepts of AI/ML, such as supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, etc.
- Experience with ML, deep learning, TensorFlow, Python, NLP or other related tools.
- Knowledge of basic algorithms, object-oriented and functional design principles, and best-practice patterns.
- Experience in REST API development, NoSQL database design, and RDBMS design and optimizations.
- A strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- The ability to solve coding problems independently is key to success in this role.
Desired Skills:
- Experience building AI solutions involving images.
- Experience building ML models using sentiment analysis using tools like Azure Synapse, SnowFlake, or DataBricks.
- Familiar with code management tools like GitHub and GitLab.
CATHEXIS offers competitive compensation packages to all eligible employees. The annual salary range for this role is $115,000 - $128,000. Please note that the salary information provided is a general guideline.
