Substation Engineering & Design Intern

Project Description:

• Our Substation Design group is looking to bring on an Engineering Intern to work at our Downtown Minneapolis or Eau Claire, WI location. The focus of this internship is to provide the student with a broad look at the electrical utility industry through entry-level tasks. This intern will provide assistance on electric substation projects through aiding Designers and Engineers in the design, fieldwork, and print preparation for major capital projects. Work may include some special assignments.

• This opportunity will apply throughout school enrollment and will end after graduation. Candidates must be able to work 15-20 hours a week during the school year and 40 hours a week during the summer.

Minimum Requirements:

Must be enrolled in an ABET accredited engineering program, studying areas such as electrical, mechanical, civil, and chemical engineering.

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $22.50 per hour
