Energy Engineer

SourceFactor's client is a technology and consulting company in the Property Technology (proptech) / Smart Buildings and Performance Contracting space.

We're helping them find a Senior Energy Engineer to join the team. In this role you will be responsible for a wide range of Energy Engineering roles: uncovering building optimization opportunities utilizing fault detection and diagnostics tools and software, energy audits, technical discussions with building operators, and analytics from other building data sources.

What you will need to be successful:

• BS in a related engineering discipline: Energy, Mechanical, Architectural, etc. from an ABET-accredited program
• 4+ years of experience in Energy Engineering and building energy efficiency
• Energy Auditing
• Experience with Building Automation and Central Utility Plant
• Commissioning Cx / Retro-Commissioning RCx
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (this role will include presenting findings to other teams and customer executives)

This role requires all candidates to be US Citizens or Permanent Residents (green card holders) due to the security requirements at some of our clients' facilities.
