Front End Developer – Chicago (hybrid – 1 day onsite)

As a Front-End Developer, you will help lead the development of innovative applications for real-time trading operations and data visualizations. We are looking for a self-starter with a record of accomplishment and a drive to learn. As a member of our team, you will learn and grow your expertise and help pass your knowledge on to others. What you will do

1. Work closely with end-users to build the best trading platform
2. Design and build FDC3 compliant web applications including user interface design and back-end integration
3. Solve tough business problems using the best and latest technologies such as React, Redux, MobX, TypeScript, WebSockets, Pulsar, Flink, Auth0, and Openfin
4. Drive our evolution by leading discussions, sharing ideas and experiences across the firm
5. Continuously improve team productivity, code quality, tool, and technology adoption
6. Push the limits of what can be achieved with JavaScript and a web browser.

Requirements:

1. 3+ years of web development experience – Expert in JavaScript and CSS
   1. Proficiency with ReactJs, Redux, and TypeScript
2. Experience integrating backend services using REST and/or WebSocket interfaces
3. Experience in building secure web applications
4. An ability to translate business problems into technical solutions

Extra Credit

1. Experience with developing data streaming applications
2. Experience with Kubernetes or GCP (Google Cloud Platform)
3. Experience with Openfin
4. Experience with web testing tools such as Selenium, WebDriver.IO, Mocha, and Enzyme.
5. Experience with web automation and build tools such as Gulp, Webpack, Babel, and Bazel
6. Experience with Relational Databases
