Summary
We're looking for a Power Platform Developer, to own all development and administrative efforts related to Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint Online, and MS Dataverse. Proficiency in all of these areas isn't required, but you must at least be proficient with Power Apps and Power Automate, as these are key areas for us where we're looking for someone to come in and hit the ground running.

This is a key hire for us, where you'll be reporting directly to the VP of IT, collaborating on application strategy, in addition to doing the development and administration independently. While you'll have support from the VP, you will be the only person focused on the Power Platform development.

As such, you'll have an opportunity to make a significant impact in our organization, on highly visible projects used by hundreds of internal users and hundreds of thousands of external users.

What you'll be doing
  1. Be the subject matter expert for MS Power Platform. Consult with stakeholders to devise the most useful ways to apply SharePoint and the Power Platform to meet business goals and objectives.
  2. Administer, troubleshoot, and maintain existing and new SharePoint sites, lists, security, and functionality.
  3. Establish Dataverse and lead in converting existing SharePoint lists, power apps, and power automations to MS Dataverse.
  4. Develop power apps and power automations in collaboration with other departments.
  5. Manage and revise the layout of SharePoint sites.
  6. Review usage and activity reports and make adjustments to ensure optimized user experiences.
  7. Support, configure, and develop the SharePoint environments.
  8. Maintain and administer SharePoint services, including search, content hub, and excel services.
  9. Develop, configure, and maintain document libraries, enterprise lists, and site collections.
  10. Manage SharePoint end-user accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with best practices regarding privacy and security.
  11. Provide SharePoint support and occasional end-user training.
  12. Assist with software development project plans, including scoping, scheduling, and implementation and other software improvements and upgrades.
  13. Enhance SharePoint functionality and performance as necessary.
  14. Generate website statistics and reports as needed, using custom or packaged tools.
  15. Review internal critical security vulnerability reports for action.
Skills we're seeking
  1. 3+ years of experience in IT
  2. Proficiency with M365 Power Apps and Power Automate Development
Nice to have experience: not required, but the more you have of the following, the better, from most important to least:
  1. SharePoint Online Development and/or Administration
    • SharePoint Designer, Server Farms, Site Collections, Service Applications, etc.
  2. MS Dataverse
  3. SQL Server
  4. Other O365 experience
  5. PowerShell
  6. Power BI
