Civil Engineer

Sterling Design Support Services (SDS2), a unit of iQuasar LLC for one of their clients is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer for a Land group in Knightdale, North Carolina. Candidates should be proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D design as it pertains to site design such as grading, stormwater management (SWM), Storm Drain, Erosion & Sediment Control (ESC) Design, and utilities. Candidates with Project Management experience are a plus.

• Position: Civil Engineer
• Location: Knightdale, North Carolina
• Position Type: On-Site

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. E.I.T. preferred
• Experience in Private Land Development
• AutoCAD & Civil 3D proficiency required
• Ability to work independently as well as in a group
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
• Excellent Verbal and Written Communication
• Local candidates preferred

Responsibilities:

• Design of land development projects
• Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D to develop design concepts and plans in site layout, water, sewer mains, roads, soil erosion, and sedimentation control plans, floodplain studies, and grading plans
• Work with other team members and management to accomplish department goals and objectives
