Vaco Technology is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer for a Hybrid role located downtown Indy.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Administration, configuration and maintenance of both Windows and Azure environments including Domain Controllers, Active Directory, Azure AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy,
Security for the company's Servers - both physical and virtual.
Administration, configuration and maintenance of datacenter networking and equipment necessary to operate servers and storage when required.
Assists with the implementation of data protection policies, using the company's backup technologies as well as underlying storage replication technologies.
Apply patches, firmware updates, as well as OS upgrades and following all security best practices.
Assist in the Administration of remote access technologies
Support and installation of networking environment, including switches, routers and firewalls.
Assist with application installation and updates
Design, deployment, and maintenance services for IT Infrastructure projects including storage, servers, virtualization, disaster recovery, email management, etc.
Assist with decommissioning of company's hardware
Ability to work after hours when needed or when incidents arise
Participate in an after-hours on call rotation

Education/Experience Needed to perform this role effectively

Bachelor's degree required.5+ years of work experience in supporting IT infrastructure services including:
Microsoft Server, including Active Directory, Azure AD, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP
Physical maintenance of hardware lifecycle
Working with various storage technologies including cloud storage.
Exchange, VMware administration desired.
LAN/WAN technologies and data protection platforms.
Familiarity with Solar Winds
10-20% Travel with this role
