We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Javascript Developer to join our dynamic engineering team. You will be responsible for developing, testing, and implementing cutting-edge web-based solutions that drive our business and provide an excellent user experience for our clients. This permanent position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from conceptualization to launch, ensuring the optimal functionality and efficiency of our web applications.

Must have experience with raw Javascript without frameworks.

Job Details:

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and test UI for mobile and web applications
2. Build reusable code and libraries for future use
3. Accurately translate user and business needs into functional frontend code
4. Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability and meet product stakeholder requirements
5. Develop high-quality mockups and prototypes
6. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
7. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
8. Maintain and improve company website
9. Work in a multidisciplinary team with other professionals such as back-end developers and web designers
10. Participate in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new programming languages, and better assist the technical team
11. Use and adapt existing web applications for apps
12. Write functional requirement documents and guides
13. Create quality mockups and prototypes

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field
2. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development, with at least 3 years of experience specifically in Javascript
3. Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3
4. Strong understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
5. Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
6. Good understanding of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks a plus
7. Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
8. Familiarity with tools such as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus
9. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git / Mercurial / SVN
10. Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that the application will adhere to them
11. Experience with Netsuite is a major plus
12. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a team player
13. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
