asap/ is seeking a designer for our studio in Los Angeles. Although M.Arch. holders are preferred, we will consider exceptionally talented B.Arch's as well. Superlative design, graphic, presentation and communication skills are a prerequisite. Leadership qualities, a positive and hard-working attitude, and relentlessly high standards are all desirable.
Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the United States. We cannot sponsor visas at this time.
As a small firm, this position offers significant responsibility, with the potential to shape the direction of the design and execution of a number of projects of differing scales and typologies. For the right candidate, the position will entail design review and participation for multiple projects from inception through construction, supervision of junior employees, and interaction with clients and regulatory bodies. Consequently, it will be possible to gain experience across the breadth of professional practice.
We are a boutique firm based in Los Angeles, with a professional presence nationally and beyond. Our work ranges across a wide variety of scales and typologies and has been recognized with numerous awards and publications worldwide.
Please note that this position will be in-person at our office in Los Angeles. Some degree of hybrid work may be possible, but only applicants located in or relocating to Los Angeles can be considered.
