About the Role:
Leidos is seeking a Senior Communications Network Engineer to join the Service Management, Integration and Transport (SMIT) Contract team. This position offers the opportunity to lead and execute the mission of the Navy's largest IT services program: SMIT. Responsibilities include network design, implementation, security, load balancing, firewall configuration, performance monitoring, and collaboration with enterprise network teams. The successful candidate will also provide technical guidance, troubleshoot complex network issues, support continuous service improvements, and participate in network upgrades and maintenance activities. This role requires a Bachelor's degree and 8-12 years of relevant experience, a Secret security clearance, relevant certifications, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the willingness to be on call during off-hours on a rotational basis. The ideal candidate will have experience with Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager, advanced vendor certifications, NET/SEC DevOps, ITIL, and Agile methodologies. Pay Range: $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
