Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Azure and/or other cloud-based solutions, ensuring they meet scalability, security, and performance requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to gather and analyze business and technical requirements.
• Develop and deploy cloud infrastructure using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.
• Implement security measures and best practices to safeguard client data and infrastructure in Azure and/or other cloud environments.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of Azure and/or other cloud resources to ensure maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure and/or other cloud services, network connectivity, and application performance.
• Assist in data migration and integration projects to transition on-premises systems to Azure and/or other cloud solutions.
• Stay up to date with the latest Azure and cloud technologies, features, services, and industry trends, and propose innovative solutions to enhance our service offerings and capabilities.
• Collaborate with the team to document technical procedures, guidelines, and knowledge base articles.
• Participate in knowledge-sharing and mentoring activities to foster continuous learning and growth within the team.
• Participate in change management and incident review as needed. Document changes and actions in change management and ticketing systems.
• Vigilantly protect Castle and our client's data through our cybersecurity risk program, which adapts to a rapidly changing threat landscape, business strategies, risks, and vulnerabilities.
• Act as an escalation point for all things Azure.
• Provide SNOC support as needed.

Education :

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted

Certification :

• Azure certification (AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ-303, AZ-304,etc.) - Preferred

Experience Required:

• Hands on Azure experience - 3+ years required or 2+ with an Azure certification - Required
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) such as Terraform, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) - Required
• Linux - experience administering, monitoring and performance tuning - Required
• Docker - deploying Docker containerized applications and Docker logging - Required
• Data management - understanding Azure based storage solutions like Azure Files, Blob Storage and Azure Data Lake - Required
• Kubernetes administration - Required
