Job Summary:
As a Geospatial Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions that leverage geospatial data to solve complex problems and enhance decision-making processes. The developer will work alongside a team of data analysts and developers, primarily experienced in R, Python, and other open source GIS platforms in addition to the ESRI suite of GIS tools, analyze requirements, develop algorithms, and integrate spatial technologies into applications that service healthcare provider network analytics.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Spatial Analysis: Perform spatial analysis and modeling techniques to derive insights, patterns, and trends from geospatial datasets using both ArcGIS tools and open-source GIS packages.
- Integration: Integrate geospatial functionalities into existing software systems and applications to enhance their spatial capabilities, utilizing both ArcGIS APIs and open-source libraries.
- Geospatial Data Management: Collect, process, and manage geospatial data from various sources such as GPS, satellites, and geographic information systems (GIS), including proprietary formats used in ArcGIS and open-source formats.
- Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines leveraging multiple data sources.
- Collaborate with data analysts and developers to understand data needs and deliver efficient solutions.
- Contribute to and advocate for coding best practices, robust documentation, and continuous improvement in data engineering practices.
- Work closely with geospatial datasets and tools, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of spatial data.
- Practices self-development and promotes learning in others by proactively providing information, resources, advice, and expertise with coworkers and customers.
- Completes work assignments and supports business-specific projects by applying expertise in subject area.
- Executes creative data analytic approaches leading to actionable outcomes by defining and calculating metrics to be analyzed.
- Develops, implements, and automates business and reporting solutions by working with stakeholders in their design, planning, and implementation.
- Interprets data analyses by applying findings to contextual settings.
- Drives strategic data-informed decisions by consulting with clients to identify and clarify key business needs.
- Gathers data and information on targeted variables in an established systematic fashion.
- Develops analytical and/or statistical models enabling informed business decisions.
- Prepares data for analytic efforts by integrating and consolidating data.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum one (1) year experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Social/Physical/Life Science, Business, or related field and minimum five (5) years experience in data analytics or a directly related field.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Two (2) years project management experience.
