This is not a remote or hybrid position, all candidates must be willing to work 100% of the time in a manufacturing plant.The ideal candidate will possess machining/fabrication/CNC experience in an engineered to order manufacturing environment.This role comes with a very competitive compensation plan commensurate with experience with a base salary ranging from $130k to $140k plus an annual bonus and relocation assistance.All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.location: Charlotte, North Carolinajob type: Permanentsalary: $130,000 - 140,000 per yearwork hours: 8am to 4pmeducation: High Schoolresponsibilities:Manages all aspects of plant manufacturing engineering including process development and control, cost estimates, routing, and planning for new product development, methods development, plant improvement, and cost reduction.Measure and provide supporting data on cost saving programs to not exceed budget.Develop and deploy robust programming, work holding, and tooling strategies for capital equipment to achieve utilization and cost targets.Identify projects with Staff Managers and the Plant Manager to significantly improve Delivery, Quality, Cost and Service in every aspect of our business.Prioritize projects based on impact to Division and ease of implementation.Focus the Manufacturing Engineering group on full support of Lean and continuous improvement of all processes.Determine make or buy designations for new and existing components.Overseeing and launching new products lines & developmentSupport plant wide culture of continuous improvement.Lead problem-solving teams to determine true 'Root Cause" with permanent deployed solutions.Take a self-directed approach to improving manufacturing operations and product flow.Conduct annual progressive performance reviews with detailed education and growth plans for Team career paths.Other various duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and AbilitiesExtremely analytical with strong attention to detail. Experience with project management software desirable.Ability to manage multiple priorities with time management independently.A team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to think abstractly to deal with ambiguous/undefined problems with a desire to collaborate with others.Experience with machine tools and machining processes, up to and including programming and work holding applications.Required QualificationsThe employee must be able to regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.Bachelor's degree (B.
