We are seeking a motivated and hardworking individual to join our Engineering team. Our engineering positions offer the opportunity for growth within our company, with career paths in GIS design/drafting, ISP, and OSP.
Career Paths: Our engineering team is looking for entry level, associate, and senior level individuals in various sectors of the team. Qualified candidates have the opportunity to follow one of the following paths:
- Make Ready Engineer - Designing and planning the design of aerial telecommunication infrastructure and fiber optic networks
- OSP Design - Supporting the engineering team through designing fiber optic networks to individual homes/buildings
- OSP Field - Gathering information from job sites to ensure compliance with customer requirements
- ISP Design - Supporting the engineering team by designing fiber optic routing within multi dwelling units (MDU) or home.
- Permitting - Preparing permits for DOT, railroads, cities, and counties to ensure timely approval and planning best routes for permit to the customer
- GIS - Completing high level data analysis to ensure accuracy and timeliness for engineering projects
Responsibilities:
- Completion of engineering tasks in support of an assigned department/project
- Communicate with employees, contractors, vendors, and/or customers to assist assigned department/project
- Completion of daily production reports to document work performed
- Receive, organize, file, and maintain documents and/or data as well as read, interpret, input, and analyze data
- Manage processes effectively and apply expertise to ensure completion of work assignments
- Participate in the implementation and maintenance of processes or procedures
- Read, interpret, input, and analyze data in support of an assigned department/project
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of related work experience preferred.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and equipment (Wrenches, Drills, Ladders, Lanyards, Fork Lifts, Saws, etc.)
- Proficient in the use of telecom construction equipment (Splicer, OTDR, Aerial Lifts, Meters, Lashers, Rodders, etc.)
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check
