Electrical PE

Job Description:
The ideal candidate should have education and experience in electrical engineering and design. Knowledge of plumbing, mechanical, and fire alarm design are a plus. Candidate should also have strong analytical skills, be detailed oriented, and able to work as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
The Electrical Engineer will:
Perform site visits to document existing conditions.
Create technical drawings of Electrical/Fire Alarm designs.
Perform electrical calculations and analysis.
Generate site lighting photometric and electrical plans.
Adhere to Kilian Engineering drafting standards for consistent documents.
Communicate with client and vendors.
Review vendor submittals.
Assist and/or mentor Project Design Managers and CAD Drafters.
Other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in engineering.
5 or more years experience in engineering consulting firm.
Licensed as PE in the state of NC.
Electrical power and lighting systems design experience
Ability to work in a team environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good knowledge of building codes and National Electrical Code.
Computer skills including AutoCad, Revit, MS Word, Excel
