Job Title: Software Engineer

Status: Exempt - Salary

Reports to: Software Development Manager

Location: Orlando, FL - Hybrid. Must live in the Central Florida area.

Software Engineer Job Responsibilities

1. Developing front end/website architecture.
2. Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones.
3. Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
4. Complete projects from conception to finished product.
5. Designing and developing APIs.
6. Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
7. Continuous learning of web applications and programming languages.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline or equivalent experience
2. 5+ years of professional software development experience
3. Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, REST APIs, React
4. Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle, and MS SQL.
5. Application architecture and design patterns
6. Experience throughout the full software development lifecycle, from conception, architecture definition, detailed design, scoping, planning, implementation, testing to documentation, delivery and maintenance is preferred
7. Experience in development of distributed/scalable systems and high-volume transaction applications
8. Familiarity with DevOps along with a Kubernetes infrastructure.
9. Familiarity with Unix and Windows operating systems.
