We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer with a strong background in integrating Active
Directory (AD) with Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will also have experience with AWS and Azure cloud engineering. This role requires a deep understanding of systems integration, cloud infrastructure, and the ability to work collaboratively across different teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of our cloud-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Active Directory Integration with AWS:
Design, implement, and manage the integration of Active Directory with AWS.
Develop and maintain automated processes for user and group provisioning/de-provisioning in AWS. Manage and maintain user provisioning and access through OKTA Ensure secure and efficient synchronization of directory services between on-premises AD and AWS environments.
Systems Engineering:
Maintain and monitor server infrastructure, ensuring high availability and reliability.
Perform regular system maintenance, including patch management, backup, and disaster recovery planning.
Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues in a timely manner.
Security and Compliance:
Ensure systems and cloud environments comply with security policies, regulations, and best practices.Implement and manage identity and access management (IAM) policies and roles in AWS and Azure.Conduct regular security assessments and audits of cloud infrastructure and systems.
Collaboration and Support:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, and security professionals, to support and enhance system integrations. Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders. Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for internal knowledge sharing.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience with Active Directory integration and management.
Strong experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM) and Azure services.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
Solid understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security principles.
Preferred Qualifications:
AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or equivalent certification. Azure Administrator Associate or equivalent certification.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Strong communication and teamwork skills
