Engineering Director- Web Engineering

Our client, Motion Recruitment Partners, LLC, is seeking a Director of Engineering to join their Engineering department. This Director of Engineering will oversee multiple Software Engineering teams that focus on developing applications used by millions of customers on a weekly basis. This Director of Engineering should have plenty of experience overseeing high impact software projects and experience building strong teams.

Required Skills & Experience

1. At least 10+ years of building and overseeing large scale software products
2. 5+ years of experience overseeing teams building Web applications
3. 2+ years of experience in a Director role overseeing Engineering Managers
4. Knowledge of technologies like JavaScript, React, Node.js, GraphQL, REST APIs, Java, MongoDB, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, etc.
5. Ability to drive strategic direction
6. Experience working with Architecture teams to ensure best practices and processes
7. Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Desired Skills & Experience

1. Prior Enterprise level experience
2. Financial industry experience
