QA Engineer - Defense & Aerospace
$95-110k plus benefits
Please note that this is a remote position on the EAST COAST of the USA due to the client location.
Software focused company looking to add to their QA team. The client is currently looking to add a QA Engineer that has both Manual and Automation Testing.
The client is a Software House that is expanding into the USA. They have seen steady growth over the past 3 years, growing from 75 to just over 230 employees.
The company is well established and this role will further lead the development and execution of the functional testing strategies in Software. To be successful in this role, you must have experience in the Defense & Aerospace industry.
The QA Engineer will create detailed test cases and test scenarios to validate software functionality, usability, and performance, from both a manual and automation testing standpoint.
Must Haves for the QA Engineer:
- Software Engineering Background and equivalent degree
- 6+ years in functional QA Testing
- Background in the Defense & Aerospace industry
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including black-box testing, white-box testing, and exploratory testing
- Understanding of test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Playwright, or Cypress
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Capable of writing code, ideally in C#
- NICE TO HAVE: FedRamp Experience
