Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer with a strong focus on automation to join our team. As a Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our product through automated testing and code reviews. You will lead the quality assurance efforts, driving effective communication, collaboration, and ownership of product quality. Your expertise in automation, quality analysis, and control will contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Implement and maintain automated testing strategies, processes, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
  2. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners, business analysts, and other roles, to understand product requirements and quality expectations.
  3. Take ownership of product quality, ensuring that quality goals are achieved through automated testing.
  4. Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive automated test plans, test cases, and test scripts to verify software functionality and usability.
  5. Experience working on react native mobile applications.
  6. Perform test automation using tools such as WebdriverIO, JavaScript (script writing), Appium, Jest, and Supertest.
  7. Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards and identify potential issues early in the development process.
  8. Analyze and enforce quality metrics, standards, and guidelines to measure and monitor product quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
  9. Perform quality analysis to identify areas of improvement, potential risks, and opportunities for process optimization.
  10. Conduct various types of testing, including functional acceptance, smoke, sanity, regression, integration, and accessibility testing.
  11. Collaborate with development teams to ensure that quality issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
  12. Support and foster a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning within the Quality Assurance team.
  13. Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in quality assurance methodologies.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience as a Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role, demonstrating strong collaboration skills.
  2. Solid understanding of software quality assurance methodologies (Testing in Agile, Shift Left approach), tools, and best practices.
  3. Proficiency in quality analysis techniques, including risk assessment, root cause analysis, and process improvement.
  4. Strong knowledge of quality control activities, including test planning, test execution, defect management, and defect prevention.
  5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  7. Ability to take ownership and drive product quality, ensuring that quality goals are met or exceeded.
  8. Extensive experience with test automation tools such as WebdriverIO, Cucumber, JavaScript, Appium, Jest and Supertest.
  9. Experience conducting code reviews and ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  10. Experience with test management tools (Zephyr) and defect tracking systems (Jira).
  11. Understanding of microservices and APIs, with experience in Postman as a plus.
  12. Some knowledge of Google Analytics (GA), with experience testing integration with GA as a plus.
