Summary:

As a React Full Stack Engineer at Recuro Health, you will play a vital role in building and maintaining our telehealth solutions. You will collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to implement efficient, scalable, and secure web applications. Your work will span the entire stack, including front-end development in React, back-end services in .NET or Go, and database management. By writing clean, maintainable code and contributing to our continuous integration and delivery processes, you will help ensure our products meet the highest standards in performance, security, and user experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain both front-end (React) and back-end (.NET) applications. Ensure seamless integration and communication between front-end and back-end systems.
  • Build responsive, scalable user interfaces optimized for performance across devices and browsers.
  • Design, implement, and maintain APIs and microservices to support robust, scalable functionality.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand software requirements and define acceptance criteria.
  • Conduct code reviews, providing feedback to improve team efficiency and maintain quality coding standards.
  • Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure consistent software quality.
  • Enhance and maintain the CI/CD pipeline to automate builds and streamline deployments.
  • Monitor and optimize both front-end and back-end performance to ensure speed and efficiency.
  • Document code, system architecture, and processes to ensure maintainability and ease of knowledge transfer across teams.

Core Competencies:

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex software requirements and translate them into effective test plans and cases. Strong problem-solving capabilities to identify, diagnose, and resolve defects and issues in software applications.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure that all aspects of the software are tested thoroughly. Precision in documenting test cases, results, and defects.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. Ability to clearly document and report testing activities, results, and defects.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Strong ability to work collaboratively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders. Openness to feedback and willingness to support team members to achieve common goals.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in front-end technologies, specifically React, Redux, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Experience with back-end development using Node.js, .NET Core, Go, and database technologies such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, ArgoCD).
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Desirable Features:

  • Understanding of telehealth and healthcare software applications.
  • Understanding of Healthcare Technology Standards and Regulations (HIPAA, HITECH, etc.).

Location Preferences:

  • This role is open to Remote, but our preference for an ideal candidate would be hybrid with at least 1-2 days in office each week to work directly with our Engineering Team in our Minneapolis Office.

Successful applicants must be eligible to work in the US (visa sponsorship is not provided at this time) and must be able to pass a pre-employment background test. Recuro Health is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or protected veteran status and will not be discriminated against on the basis of disability.
