Plumbing Engineer

About the Position:
MEPCE, Inc. is seeking a skilled and motivated Plumbing Engineer to join our growing team in Las Colinas. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the design and development of plumbing systems for a variety of projects across the nation. Responsibilities:
- Lead plumbing design projects from conception to completion.
- Develop detailed plans and specifications for plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and sanitary systems.
- Perform calculations for pipe sizing, water demand, and system pressure.
- Select appropriate plumbing fixtures and equipment.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of plumbing systems with other building systems.
- Mentor junior engineers and designers.
- Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and oversee construction progress.
- Stay abreast of industry standards and codes.
- Contribute to the overall success of MEPCE by upholding our commitment to quality and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is essential.
- Experience with plumbing design software is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
