This Desktop Support Engineer I role is responsible for providing daily production support for the bank's end user computing environment. The individual will support the corporate office in Santa Clara, CA and interact with all FCB/SVB locations via remote assistance. Responsibilities include technical support, system testing, system enhancement, and acting as an escalation point for the Service Desk team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and 1 year of experience in systems support or a High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of experience. Preferred skills/experience include high level customer service skills, support experience with Microsoft Windows 10, MECM(SCCM), MS Office Suite (O365), email, network infrastructure, VOIP, and troubleshooting hardware/software. The candidate must also have a strong technical ability, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be willing to be on call 24/7/365 on a rotational basis. Additional preferred skills/experience include banking/financial services industry experience, executive support experience, Apple MacOS support, and certifications such as A+, Network+, MCP, MCSE, MCSA.
