Actalent is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer with PFMEA proficiency. This is a W2 contract role that offers full benefits and holiday/vacation pay. This is expected to be a 6-12 month contract.Responsibilities:· Organize, moderate and be the go-to person to help PFMEA teams to meet expectations.· Assure PFMEAs are properly structured and stored in cooperate FMEA databases (AIAG-VDA software)· Transfer select FMEAs from excel to AIAG-VDA software· Form cross-functional teams to write / update FMEAs. Ensure the correct participants are present.· Moderate PFMEA team meetings to ensure that the correct methodology is used.· Become expert in AIAG_AVD software tool.· Ensure the read-across of PFMEA product variations are correct and up-to-date.· Ensure alignment of PFMEA to actual production process.· Support Product and Process teams developing and maintaining Design and Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (D/PFMEA)Qualifications:· Demonstrated proficiency in AIAG-VDA PFMEA methodology· Excellent computer skills including, but not limited to, Office 365 and understanding of IT database structures· Strong analytical, written and verbal communication, and organizational skills.· Team player willing to help out as needed.· Project Management experience > 2 years· Commitment to project schedule & due dates· Effective communication skills· Ability to lead small cross-functional teamsAbout ActalentActalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
