Description
We are seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer to provide Agile DevOps support to critical systems. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing test scripts, evaluating test results, and providing feedback in a Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery Pipeline. We are also looking for candidates who can assist with systems engineering, software development, training, and security as needed.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Participate in Agile software development initiatives to support innovation and enhancement of custom applications
- Collaborate with team members to assess effort and ensure proper testing and delivery of functionality
- Develop test validation scripts using designated programming languages
- Automate recurring test cases using selected toolsets
- Document end-to-end functionality test case narratives
- Generate test data and identify use/corner cases required to meet user needs
- Support performance testing using designated tools
Basic Qualifications:
- Significant experience testing both back-end and front-end applications processes
- Experience with scripting languages to automate tasks
- Knowledge of software performance testing practices
- Experience in authoring and executing test cases for software products
- Experience working/testing within Commercial Cloud Platforms and DevOps tools
- Experience working in an Agile and DevOps development environment
- Excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with administration of MS Windows Server or Linux environments
- Experience with AWS environments
**Candidate must have BS degree with 8 or more years of prior relevant experience or Master's with 6 or more years of prior relevant experience. Will consider experience in lieu of a degree
**Candidate must have an active TS/SCI with Polygraph
