Summary

Under the direction of the Senior Manager – IT Infrastructure, this role is responsible for administration, security, design, and maintenance of enterprise application storage and data infrastructure.

What you'll be doing

1. Design, manage, and enhance identity management solutions leveraging Okta, Azure Active Directory, Active Directory domains using security best practices.
2. Measure and optimize system performance, with an eye toward pushing our capabilities forward, getting ahead of customer needs, and innovating to continually improve.
3. Gather and analyze metrics from both operating systems and applications to assist in performance tuning and application availability.
4. Partner with development teams to improve services through rigorous testing and release procedures.
5. Participate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning.
6. Create sustainable systems and services through automation and uplifts.
7. Balance feature development speed and reliability with well-defined service level objectives.
8. Act as a last level of escalation for major company impacting issues, while collaborating with other Technical teams and our Service Desk.
9. Design, manage, and monitor hybrid workloads across VMWare and Azure infrastructure and platform services (IaaS and PaaS) including new system and service builds, HA/DR requirements and configuration.
10. Build processes and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications leveraging Infrastructure as Code.

Skills we're seeking

1. 5+ years of experience with Storage Engineering (SAN and NAS).
2. 2+ years of experience with cloud-based storage engineering.
3. Ideally Azure and/or AWS.
4. Experience with VMWare and Microsoft systems.

Nice to have experience

1. Azure experience.
2. DevOps and/or IaC experience.
