Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • Partner with internal and external teams to develop and implement comprehensive foundry quality processes and procedures for Coherent Silicon Photonic PIC Products.
  • Participate in new product design for quality and reliability (DfQnR) reviews and Failure Mode Effects and Analysis (FMEA).
  • Identify and define Key Foundry Quality Metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Utilize Quality Metrics and KPIs to derive predictive quality metrics and implement preventive measures.
  • Apply big data techniques to analyze foundry quality data, predict trends, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Drive specification changes, resolve process issues, and manage material disposition through the CCB process.
Education & Experience
  • BS/MS/PhD in Material Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent field.
Skills
  • 5+ years of experience in CMOS or Silicon Photonics foundry process technology development, foundry technology interface, or related fields and technology nodes.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence individuals with diverse backgrounds.
  • Expertise in data analysis using JMP.
  • Proficiency in Semiconductor Device Physics and Defect Mechanism analysis.
  • Prior background and/or knowledge of Silicon Photonics design and simulation is highly advantageous.
Working Conditions
  • Office environment with upto 5% travel
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work collaboratively in office environment.
