Key Responsibilities:

  • Startup Leadership : Take charge of a nimble and innovative AI research team, where you will set the technical vision and lead high-impact projects. Your strategic guidance will be critical in navigating the fast-paced startup landscape.
  • Research and Development : Leverage your expertise across AI disciplines to drive pioneering research and infuse our product line with advanced capabilities, ensuring we stay ahead of the curve in a competitive market.
  • Solution Design : Design and refine the architecture for scalable AI solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers and the market. Your role is pivotal in ensuring our solutions are not only innovative but also commercially viable.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration : Foster strong collaborative ties between research, engineering, and business units, championing a culture of rapid iteration and integration of research insights into product development.
  • Team Development and Mentorship : Cultivate an environment of growth and learning for your team, mentoring emerging talent and guiding researchers and engineers to excel in a startup setting.
Qualifications:
  • A PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with a strong emphasis on AI and machine learning.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a research or product development role within a fast-paced, high-growth environment, preferably in a startup.
  • Demonstrated leadership with a record of driving project completion and guiding technical teams.
  • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with other programming languages, along with a history of working with AI development frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
  • Proven ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies quickly and to solve problems creatively and effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, with a talent for conveying complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders and synthesizing diverse perspectives into a unified strategy.
