Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Analytics Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Analytics Engineer will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining data infrastructure and analytical solutions to support our company’s needs. This role requires a deep understanding of data architecture, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in various programming languages and tools.
About the role
Data Modeling and Architecture:
- Assist with the design and implementation of scalable data models and architecture to support the storage, retrieval, and analysis of large volumes of data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data models and technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to integrate data from multiple sources into our data warehouse or analytical systems.
- Optimize ETL workflows for performance, reliability, and data quality.
Data Analysis and Visualization:
- Work closely with business teams to understand analytical requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines for real-time or batch processing, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Create interactive dashboards and reports using visualization tools.
Performance Optimization:
- Monitor and optimize the performance of data infrastructure and analytical solutions to ensure scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve query performance, data processing speed, and resource utilization.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data engineering and analytics.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and innovation to enhance our data capabilities and drive business value.
About you
- 3-5 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or a related field, with a proven track record of designing and implementing complex data solutions.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
- Proven experience as a data analyst, analytics engineer, or similar role in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server).
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and related services (e.g., S3, Redshift, BigQuery).
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $140,000 - 155,000 annually. Salary is determined by a combination of factors including location, level, relevant experience, and skills.
