업무내용/자격요건

1. New Product Engineer delivers new product to the market in a timely manner with expected product and process robustness, focusing on technology platform and new product development, design for manufacturability, development timeline, new product performance & cost, and production.
2. Position Description:
   1. Work with a team of NPD Managers/Engineers supporting BU objectives
   2. Define Product (HVIGBTs, Diodes, and SiCMOSFETs) Specification requirements for new products with application engineering, product marketing leader
   3. Validate Electrical parameters through evaluating electrical characterization data following NPD process
   4. Work with tech platform development/App/Rel/Pkg/MKT team to release products to the market
   5. Communicate and work with global site Assy/Rel/design engineers to implement development activities and decision making
   6. Work with Sustain PE/DE (Device engineering) team to maintain quality issues and stabilization (yield up) for mass production

Minimum Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in Electrical or Electronic or Semiconductor Engineering or similar degree
• 5+ years of relevant experience in developing Semiconductor devices, as a Product Engineer, or Product Development Engineer, or Test Engineer, or Application Engineer

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Power Discrete (SiC & SiMOSFET/IGBT/Diode) device physics
• Knowledge of Power Discrete qualify and reliability mechanisms
• Knowledge of Power Discrete wafer and component level testing and yield improvement
• Good understanding of the process of Fab and Assy
• Understanding of semiconductor device failure mode and mechanism or have an experience on failure analysis
• Strong probability and statistics background including DOE’s
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Strong working ownership with very well self-motivated and engineering attitude

Preferred Experience/Skills

• Experience in leading cross functional teams and understands program/project management
• Excellent skill of data handling using office tool. (Excel, PPT, MS Project, JMP, etc.)
• Fluent English communicating skill (speaking/listening/writing)
