Job Title: Network Engineer

Location(s): McLean, VA

Responsibilities:

1. Barracuda WAF, AWS WAF, bot protection, perimeter defense
2. Specialized Palo Alto engineer - management, design, implementation, and deployment
3. Proxy engineering
4. VPN engineering (prefer Palo GP/AOA & F5 VPN)
5. Load Balancer Engineering

Qualifications:

1. At least one WAF certification a plus
2. Python or shell scripting a plus
3. 3-5 years in network engineering
4. 3 years in WAF
5. At least one Palo Alto certification
6. Dynamic Routing configuration and troubleshooting
7. Packet level review and analysis for troubleshooting and design
8. Rule design using NAT
9. Firewall log and flow reviews using an observability platform - observability dashboard creation a plus
10. 3-5 years in network security engineering
11. 3 years in hands-on Palo Alto FW engineering
12. Broadcom Cloud SWG
13. WSS agent
14. Palo SASE a plus
15. 2-5 years in general network engineering
16. 2 years in proxy
17. Palo Global Protect / AoA
18. F5 VPN
19. 3 years in network engineering
20. 2 years in VPN
21. F5
22. 3 years in network engineering
23. 2 years in load balancers
