This position may be offered to a candidate authorized to work in the US for his/her/their stated employer, without any restrictions which would prevent the candidate from working on the proposed assignment for the duration of the assignment period.

Must Haves:

1. Must have strong Java Development skills.
2. Experience with relational databases, preferably Postgres.
3. Experience with CI/CD Pipeline tools including Jenkins.
4. Strong automation testing experience, specifically with cucumber and Junit.
5. Experience with Restful web services.
6. Strong preference for any cloud experience, specifically AWS.

1. Engage business users to define the requirements and design for a vast array of tools supporting trade analytics, pooling & securitization, trade capture, reporting, and reconciliation.
2. Application development, prototyping, and automation in testing.
3. Production support.
4. Work closely with team members and business partners to develop cutting edge technology solutions under tight deadlines.
5. Predict effects of configuration changes; identify application bottlenecks and opportunities to optimize performance.
6. Support issue resolution and completion of ad-hoc requests in support of business partners within the I&CM division.

1. 7+ years of IT experience in design, development, integration and testing of software solutions based on J2EE technologies including servlets, Java Server Pages (JSP), and JDBC.
2. 5-7 years of experience with relational databases including SQL Server, MySQL, and/or DB2.
3. 2-3 years of experience with managing, building, and deploying code through tools including Eclipse, GIT, Gradle, Docker, and Jenkins.
4. 2-3 years of experience designing and executing JUnit test cases using Mockito framework based on business requirements and functional specifications.
5. Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.

1. Proficiency working with containers such as Docker.
2. Knowledge and experience with Cloud technology such as AWS is a plus.
3. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
4. Ability to think critically and act expeditiously to evaluate situations, make decisions and solve problems.
5. Flexible and versatile to adapt to any new environment and work on any project.
6. Strong oral and written communication skills, and ability to work well with a variety of personalities.

1. Firm grasp of Java 8 (or above), I/O, Multithreading, Collections, Generics, Lambda.
2. Spring Core, MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Sprint Data (JPA), Dependency Injection, AOP (Aspect Oriented Programming), IOC (Inversion of Control), DAO (Data Access Object), JTA, JDBC.
3. HTML, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, AngularJS 2.0.
4. Apache Tomcat, Jetty Server.
5. JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber/Selenium, JIRA.
6. Java, J2EE, Web Services, SOA, SOAP, RESTful etc.
7. Proficient in implementing various Design Patterns like MVC, Singleton, Session, Facade, Factory, DAO (Data Access Object), DTO (Data Transfer Object).
8. XML technologies - DTD, XSL, XSLT, XPATH, JAXB, JAXP, SAX and DOM Parsers.
9. Worked on SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) SOAP, WSDL Exposure to JAXB, JAX-WS & JAX-RS.

1. Candidate should be able to effectively build, analyze, implement, and scale.
2. Understanding of the use of containers in the development process.
3. Understanding of application lifecycle management.
4. Ability to use a CI/CD pipeline (e.g. JIRA, Jenkins) to deploy applications on AWS.
