This is a position that can be based in one of the following locations: Austin, TX; Frisco, TX; Greenwood Village (Denver DTC); or Phoenix, AZ. In this role, you will assume multi-project responsibilities for full electrical design including cleanroom design and process utility systems. Projects will be in advanced manufacturing and technology markets.Job Activities:Prepare accurate Electrical system construction drawings and specifications for submittal review and construction administrationPrepare preliminary schematics and final designs, calculations, equipment selection and layoutMaintain project design budgets and schedules while pursuing qualityActively engage in and assume responsibility for code research and applicationInterface with other disciplines, clients, and contractorsCoordinate with other production staffSpecific Requirements include:BS in Electrical Engineering or Architectural EngineeringLicenses/Registrations: Professional Engineer License (PE) strongly preferred8 + years of relative Electrical Design experienceApplication knowledge of electrical, building, and energy codes is desiredStrong verbal and writing skillsStrong background with Microsoft® Office, AutoCAD, and REVITAbility to travelAbout Farnsworth GroupFarnsworth Group is an award winning, employee-owned engineering, architecture, and surveying firm with more than 500 employees located in nearly 30 offices nationwide.
