We are looking for a Senior Software Development Manager with expertise and passion in solving difficult problems in high availability services, operating systems, and distributed systems. As a manager of the software engineering division, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications, operating systems, and databases according to provided design specifications. You will lead the team to build enhancements within an existing software architecture and suggest improvements to the architecture. You will interact with other functional peer group managers in our organization and with senior management on team status and technical roadmap.
Responsibilities
- Leading a team of engineers, planning and reviewing their work, removing barriers, and solving problems to help them be optimally productive and deliver work on time.
- Creating the software vision for OS Management Hub service.
- Developing highly-available service and service stacks in production environments.
- Providing architectural oversight for systems and services.
- Promoting, implementing, and educating about Agile software development.
- Cooperating with cross-functional teams and clearly communicating technical information through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication.
- Developing engineering talent within the organization.

US: Hiring Range: from $84,700 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
