Process Engineer - Manufacturing Optimization

Southwire, a leading wire and cable producer, is seeking a Process Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes and support new product introductions at our facility in BREMENEAST. As a key member of our plant engineering team, you'll identify opportunities for process improvements, troubleshoot machine and process-related issues, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Optimize manufacturing process efficiency, reduce scrap, and minimize material usage
• Provide problem solving support to minimize downtime and improve efficiency
• Develop standardized work instructions, process standards, and tooling requirements
• Optimize tooling and dies management and resolve any related issues
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices for machine guarding systems
• Analyze Connected Factory data to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Utilize data analysis and statistical tools to leverage process data for identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities
• Assist with change management activities
• Collaborate with product development team for new product introductions and modifications

Education, Experience, and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• 3+ years experience in manufacturing process engineering
