Job Description

Location: Atlanta, GA

Qualifications

1. Strong experience with Java, Spring MVC, Hibernate, JPA, Spring, HTML, CSS, and relational databases. Excellent communication is a MUST.
2. 2+ years of application development experience, including the programming/development of web applications.
3. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
4. Successful track record in designing and implementing web applications using Java, Spring, Spring MVC, Hibernate, JPA, Maven, rules engines.
5. Experience integrating applications and designing and developing web services and frameworks. Extensive front and back end experience required.
6. Outstanding oral and written communication skills and experience working directly with end users to understand and translate requirements to design.
7. Demonstrated ability to evaluate new and emerging technologies and vendor products and to constructively apply them to meet identified business and technology goals.
8. Ability to work in a team environment.
9. Demonstrated ability to think strategically and realize those strategies in application design.
10. Strong ability to diagnose critical problems and develop solutions.
11. Ability to take part in production support and lead troubleshooting calls as needed.
12. Strong understanding and experience with SQL/Stored Procedure.
13. Strong understanding and experience with test-driven development.
14. Relational databases - preferably SQL Server 2008.
